The Toyota Prius can at last have a bike carrier attached properly, securely to the back of the car, without strapping it to the back window.

We are able to bring to the market a fully functioning rear-mounting bike carrier frame mount that can utilise all of the usual bike rack types of fittings. Whilst the Prius cannot be used for towing, our bike and luggage rack mounts carry either a ball, square-tube type or other rear carrier frame just as with any other car bike rack mounting.

The use of a rear mount for the bike rack and load carrying frames has all of the benefits that we are used to experiencing – the load is out of the main wind flow of roof carried items and is at a height that we can easily manage. No more lifting bikes over our head to load them, just a nice, easy lift on to a shin-height frame and, of course we have the advantage of being able to carry bikes that don’t have the regular down-tube frame, so semi-recumbent, long wheelbase, ladies bikes, etc. all fit easily and securely.
